Checkout this footage uploaded by Rod Kirkpatrick’s youtube channel on October 21, 2014. It was so windy in England the other day that the Kinder waterfall which normally has a 98ft downfall ceased to exist. The Kinder Downfall is fed by river Kinder in the northwestern Derbyshire region of England.
I never knew exactly how beautiful the Sahara Desert is, until after having the pleasure of watching this video. Sammy B. and his film crew caught breath-taking footage using a drone and other methods. The footage was captured using a Gopro HERO 3. I am definitely going to have to add Sandboarding to my bucket list also! Almost forgot, the scenes were filmed in Timimoun Tamanrasset (Hoggar Tassili) and Djanet (Tassili Ajjer).
Riceman2011’s Youtube channel just uploaded a video about the September 11 ‘Tribute in Light Memorial‘ that is displayed in New York City every year in remembrance of the attacks. The Riceman takes you up close showing you the lights from Gound Zero looking up.
The Tribute first began back in 2002 when The Municipal Art Societey of New York ran a temporary installation from March 11 – April 14, 2002. The Tribute in Light is a total of 88 search lights that shine into the night sky that resemble the twin towers in blue light shining into the heavens. They launched it again in 2003, and it has ran every year since.
The second video that I embedded is a view from the other side of the river facing the financial district. This video was uploaded by the Associated Press youtube channel.
The river Zin runs throught the Negev Desert in Israel, and has been dry for years. Heavy rainfall on the mountains caused water to run down and filled the riverbed back up. This is footage uploaded March 14, of the villagers gathering around to witness this extremely Phenomenal event. ~please checkout the cool ads before you go, thanks for visiting~
A film maker uses aTBS Discovery Pro quadcopter to capture awe-inspiring footage. The location is on the north Cornwall coast in England, near Newquay. Everything came together perfectly for the flight: the wind dropped, the sun was low and orange and the tide was almost completely in. In fact, this footage is straight out of the camera.
