Scientists use the internet to send Brain to Brain communication across continents (Video)

A group of international scientists just completed a successful study that found that a brain could transmit a message to another brain through using internet channels. They successfully completed this across continents. The experiment involved two people: one was in India, and the other in France … The signal then translated into a code and was sent via the internet to the cap of a receiver in the other country.”  Here is news video uploaded to Youtube on September 7, 2014 describing the experiment in more detail.

MIT’s new phase-changing material could create more Biological looking Robots (Video)

Massachusetts Institute of Technology has created a new phase changling material that is built from wax and foam.  The material was developed by a group of researchers at MIT and is capable of switching between hard and soft states.  The robots built from this cool material would be able to operate mor like a biological organism.  This material could sent search and rescue missions onto a whole new level.  Checkout the awesome video just recently uploaded to MIT’s youtube channel on July 14, 2014.

Now you can eat five a day inglorious fruits and vegetables. As good, but 30% cheaper. The inglorious Fruits and Vegetables, a glorious fight against food waste.

SpaceX ‘Elon Musk’ vows to beat NASA to Mars (Video)

SpaceX founder and CEO Elon Musk stated that his team will be able to land humans on Mars between the years 2026 and 2028.  This will be almost ten years earlier than NASA said that they will do it.  However, SpaceX still has challenges that it will have to over come before sending people to the Red Planet.  1. they will have design and manufacture a Booster, capable of handling a human mission to Mars.  They do have some competition though.  Mars 1, a dutch company intends on using a heavy rocket to launch people to the Red Planet also.

Harley-Davidson Unveils Electric Motorcycle (Video)

Harley-Davidson today revealed its first electric motorcycle, called Project LiveWire.  They describe Harley’s new electric motorcycle as a sleek, futuristic bike that hums like a jet airplane taking off.   The prototype is powered by a longitudinally-mounted electric motor rated at 74 hp and 52 lb-ft of torque, on par with H-D’s 833 cc internal combustion engine. The battery-powered unit was developed with help from electric powertrain specialist Mission Motors.  Harley-Davidson says the belt-driven bike can accelerate from 0-60 mph in under four seconds, and has an electronically restricted top speed of 92 mph.
