Well, here is something that you do not see everyday. Hiveyivey2 Youtube channel uploaded footage of a tornado touching down near Gage and Vermont avenues in South Los Angeles yesterday December 12, 2014. This video goes to show you, that sometimes tornadoes can be almost invisible to the naked eye, and still do significant damage. According to local media, this was the first time a tornado touched down in LA since 2004.

The Los Angeles Fire Department says a ruptured oil pipe has caused about 50,000 gallons of crude oil to spill on to the city’s streets. The oil, which covers a half-mile area and is knee-high in some places. The oil escaped after a break in an above-ground pipeline outside 5175 West San Fernando Road in the Atwater Village suburb on LA.
