Makhachkala, Russia Gas Station Explosion (Video)

Four people were seriously injured yesterday in an explosion at a gas station located in a busy section in the city of Makhachkala, Russia.  Onlookers happened to started to film the petro station when they noticed smoke coming from the pumps.  According to local Russian news 3 of the victims were admitted to the local hospital with burns to 90% of their body.  The 4th person suffered injuries from shrapnel wounds.


Russian State Television asks Moscow residents what they knew about Malaysian Airlines Flight MH17 (Video)

Tom Balmforth of Russian State Televison asked Moscow residents what they knew from Russian media reports about the July 17 crash of Malaysian Airlines flight MH17 in eastern Ukraine. Some of the respondents blamed the Ukrainian government, while others blamed the United States for the apparent downing of the passenger airplane. Others dismissed Russian television as an unreliable source of information and said anti government rebels in eastern Ukraine were responsible for the plane crash.


China and Russia sign a $400 billion dollar gas bill (Video)

Ultimately, price hinges on the asking price between the two sides. This deal has been 10 years in the making and ultimately what it really comes down to at the very end is how much China is willing to pay for the gas. We are looking at somewhere between $350 or maybe slightly less for 1,000 cubic meters of gas. We are looking at the deal that is worth around $400 billion over a 30-year period of time.
