     Nasa Jet Propulsion’s Youtube chanel just release new footage taken from the Curiosity Rover on Mar’s. The footage shows detailed 360 view of the landscape in explicit detail. Curiosity Project Scientist Ashwin Vasavada gives a descriptive tour of the Mars rover’s view in Gale Crater. The white-balanced scene looks back over the journey so far. The view from “Vera Rubin Ridge” looks back over buttes, dunes and other features along the route.

Alligators in Freezing Water After Bomb Cyclone

     Did you ever wonder what a alligator would look like if it was in freezing, or frozen water. Here is footage of a alligator in a frozen cypress swamp down south after the frigid bomb cyclone battered the entire east coast the first week of January 2018. The alligator in this video stayed in the water with his nose above the water so it could still breath as the water froze around it’s snout.

     Here is footage taken of the ocean at Old Silver Beach in North Falmouth, Massachusetts just after the ‘Bomb Cyclone’ battered the northeastern United States.  The ocean and the waves look to be completely frozen in this video.  Right now, we all on the east coast are dealing with the coldest weather of 2018, with temperatures in the negative degrees with 25 – 50 mph freezing winds.

SpaceX launched another Falcon 9 rocket over the weekend in southern California, and this time it looked like something out of a sci fi movie. The rocket launched from Vandenberg Air base right around sunset carrying 10 satellites forIridium global communications. The fires have already burned over 50,000 acres in Ventura County.
